A great opportunity to join the fast paced, growing and innovative NZ Ecommerce Retailer onceit.co.nz. The purpose of the role is to source, onboard and maximise trade with aspirational brands and suppliers (sellers) on the Onceit Marketplace, to drive sustainable financial growth through sales and by forging strong relationships with sellers.

We are looking for someone who has previous business development experience and success, online marketplace experience, is highly motivated and has an excellent work ethic. You need to be analytical, have strong selling and negotiating skills and have great verbal and written communication skills.

This position is based in our office in Newmarket, Auckland, hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with work from home opportunities.

What you will do for us:

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Onceit’s value proposition, and competitive differentiation in the online retail space.
  • Gain a sufficient understanding of the Onceit marketplace acceleration strategy, industry trends, seller successes, and competitors.
  • Generate new seller leads and create new business opportunities with a focus on well known brands and on trend products.
  • Effectively move generated leads through the sales process via calls, meetings, and email communication.
  • Understand the specific needs and pain points of a potential seller.
  • Develop customized sales materials and deliver in a consultative manner, ensure we are delivering value to prospects and demonstrating Onceit’s value proposition.
  • Understand and build efficient B2C shipping solutions for various products and locations.
  • Create and deliver presentations and proposals, answer questions, overcome objections, and secure commitments for new business.
  • Stay abreast of global ecommerce trends and how opportunities may impact local markets.
  • Proactively seek new integration solutions for sellers to make on-boarding more efficient.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline sufficient to support KPIs.
